From Copenhagen (about 1 hour):
Drive towards Roskilde – Holbæk on road 21 (west), take Exit 17. Follow road 23 towards Kalundborg, take Exit 231 Mørkøv, turn left and follow the road straight ahead towards Skamstrup – Skellingsted – Kongsted. Follow the sign at the village pond for Birkegårdens Haver – – check map! From Mørkøv 10 minutes!

From the Great Belt (Funen and Jutland), Middle and South Zealand:
1. Drive towards Sorø on E20, take Exit 37.
2. Turn left and left right after onto road 219 towards Kalundborg/Ruds Vedby.
3. Turn right at the T-cross (in Bromme), and then left again after 200 meters. Follow the road (about 8-10 minutes) until you get to another T-cross.
4. Turn left and follow road 255 towards Ruds Vedby.
5. Turn right again after 100 meters through Skellebjerg.
6. Turn left in Skellebjerg towards Tågerup (cross the train tracks) and follow the sign for Birkegårdens Haver – about 2-3 minutes. – check map!

The road from Sorø is not so easy – but it is beautiful :), and it is only 15-20 minutes from Sorø (the highway).

Please note before your choice of destination:
To get as close as possible to Birkegårdens Haver you will have to take the local Movia bus.

From the nearest bus stop you will have to walk about 7-800 meters. See the map on the right side of this page.

Please note that the buses only run on weekdays.

1) Høng – Tågerup – Buerup (Movia 592). See the sign, walk along Tågerupvej, direction Kongsted. Only on weekdays!

2) Mørkøv – Kongsted – Dianalund (Movia 513). See the sign at the village pond, walk along Nøddestivej. Only on weekdays!

Get off the train at Skellebjerg station and take the road Hedeborydevej towards Tågerup see map. The distance from the train station to Birkegårdens Haver is approx. 4 km.

It would be beneficial to you to go on bike because:
• you avoid waiting time at bus stop
• you avoid inconvenience due to a limited bus service
• you will not have to walk from the bus stop to Birkegårdens Haver
